This Weeks Offer - Special Offer For Friday’s Faith in the Fog of War Have you ever encountered while driving a thick mist? You know those low lying clouds where you can’t see a thing. Driving into fog can be pretty freighting, disorienting, you’re just not sure what’s in front of you. War is much like a fog, the enemy may be lurking and we can’t see his next move. It can be confusing and more importantly deadly. Whether it’s war in Iraq or war in our personal lives faith in Christ will always lead us through the fog. He has promised to be with us always. Captain Chris Plenkenpol of the US Army understands the presence of a faithful God in dark places. Places like Iraq where the fog from battle is thick and dense. Captain Plenkenpol recently served in Iraq as tank company team commander responsible for 100 men and 85 million dollars in equipment. As we celebrate our Nation’s Independence this week, this US Army soldier shares some fresh insight with us from his new book, “Faith in the Fog of War”. We thank God for men like Chris who have given it up to protect our national freedom and can help us meet God in the midst of the battle. |
